Highest Quality Manufacturing Standards

We employ only cutting-edge equipment and techniques to produce our sunglasses, and our experienced team is dedicated to helping you create stylish and functional products. 

These shades feature an acetate frame top, stainless steel rims, and acetate temples. The temples are carefully crafted to provide a comfortable and secure fit. Like the frame top, they are punched out of acetate sheets and polished to a smooth finish in large drums.

Each temple features a narrow strip of steel called a core wire to add strength and durability. First, the temples and core wire are heated, after which the wire is inserted into the temple. The joint is then soldered and filed smooth. After the temples are cooled, they are trimmed to their final length, and the tips are rounded for comfort.

The temples are then manually attached to the frame fronts, which have already undergone a highly rigorous polishing process. Our process includes over 15 procedures that ensure a smooth, consistent finish.

We start by tumbling the frames for a total of five days in drums with bamboo chips. The first tumble lasts for two days and uses sharp bamboo to remove any roughness from the surface of the frames. The second tumble, which lasts another two days, uses somewhat softer bamboo to remove even more imperfections. Finally, the frames are tumbled a third time for one day using new, clean bamboo to ensure a smooth, flawless finish.

After the frames are tumbled, they are hand-polished using beeswax. In the first round of hand-polishing, the major sections of the frames are polished. In the second round, we focus on the smaller, more intricate details. The final round ensures a beautiful, high-gloss finish that looks perfect from any angle.

All the hand-polishing is performed by highly experienced artisans who have been perfecting their craft for years. It is a challenging job and due to the attention to detail required for outstanding results, one person can only polish approximately 80 frames per day. 

As with every element of our sunglasses, great care is taken to ensure that the temples are of the highest quality. We use only the best materials and techniques to create products that will stand the test of time.
